Time was, the upstairs at Gelato Vero was old and decrepit and reeking of stale cigarettes. I did a full-on double take when I climbed the stairs 5 minutes ago! New tables and chairs. Outlets every 10 feet. New paint. I think they might have redone the floor (but that could be my imagination). And no ashtrays to be seen!
